You only live once, or YOLO, is something that Claire keeps in mind whenever she is faced with an uncertain decision. Whether on the soccer pitch, in the classroom, or even taking a leap and joining the leadership program of Girls Soccer Worldwide, she always thinks, “I only live once, so I should make the most out of it–no matter the result”.

While Claire does enjoy trying new things, she always ensures that she is doing her best at whatever it is. Claire is a hard worker at her core and loves to take the initiative in any activity. This is reflected in her role as a long-time captain of her soccer team. As a leader, Claire values understanding others’ perspectives and incorporating diverse opinions, making sure that as many people as possible are happy with the outcome. This collaborative nature is why Claire loves working with other ambassadors through GSW, where everyone’s unique ideas come together to create something amazing for younger girls in the program.

Off the pitch, Claire loves to be with her friends and especially loves to go on long drives with them. With no general idea of where they’re going, she and her friends are in it for the journey along the way (though every single time they somehow wind up at Crumbl Cookie). Claire is known by those around her for her humor and lively personality, often cracking jokes, regardless of whether people laugh or not. 

Claire is highly focused when it comes to her studies. She devotes time to understanding her schoolwork and isn't afraid to seek help from friends, teachers, or even YouTube. However, she will admit to occasional procrastination. But her determination and passion will always shine through this, especially in her involvement with Girls Soccer Worldwide. Through this program, Claire has embraced and taken pride in the qualities that make her unique.
